I had the privilege of meeting Stan Lee at a comic book convention in the early 1990s in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I specifically went to the show to see Mr. Lee. He was such a gracious person to his fans. He was a great storyteller who influenced my life in my childhood and beyond. He is likely why I was such a superfan of Marvel. If I had a chance to stay one more thing to Mr. Lee, it would probably be his famous line, “Excelsior!” May he rest in peace.
